Lupe Camargo joined the company in 2005 as Director of Client Operations with 15 years of business analysis and marketing experience. Since her promotion to financial planner, Lupe serves a wide variety of clients. She also leverages her experience as a Latina business professional to provide specialized financial planning and investment advice to women and Latino clientele.
Before joining Perspective, Lupe held management positions with US West, Honeywell and 3M. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Arizona State University and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Austin.
She has served on various boards, including Hispanic Business Alumni of ASU, The National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for Holy Spirit Church in Tempe and the Scholarship Review Committee for Hispanic College Fund.
Lupe has been enlisted by the cities of Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe to teach financial planning workshops designed especially for women. The workshops are offered as part of the cities’ community classes and education programs at no cost or a nominal fee. They address and help demystify the issues women face in fundamental financial planning areas such as cash flow, debt management, employee benefits, taxes, retirement, estate planning, college savings and investing.
